The total area of ​​the fields on the farm corresponds to 500 acres (or 200 hectares). (1 ha = 100m. x 100m.). Compared to farms in the Gaspé, we can say that this is a very large property. The farm is the largest strawberry producer in the Gaspé. Of the total area, approximately 30 hectares are in strawberry production (approximately 15% of the total area). The Farm also has other market gardening production: sweet corn (6 hectares) and various vegetables (2 hectares), rhubarb plantations (1 hectare), a small plot is allocated to blueberries. The area that is not cultivated is used for crop rotation.The Bourdages, firmly anchored on the same land since 1821, represent 7 generations of passionate farmers who have developed, over time, a magnificent agritourism business.
