We have been a market garden farm in Beauport for 12 generations. In the beginning, we raised animals and produced vegetables to meet the needs of large families. Later, we began to sell surplus vegetables at the market. When Roger took over, he continued market gardening and market sales with his brothers and sisters. In 1970, he expanded the farm and purchased a plot of land on Île d'Orléans in Saint-Laurent. Alexina, his wife, took care of sales and the Quebec market. They took their well-deserved retirement 17 years ago. In 2007, France the elder took over in turn. In order to bring fresh vegetables more easily to customers, she opted for family baskets. However, she kept the presence of a kiosk at the Marchés Publics de Québec from July to October. In addition, she opened a kiosk in Beauport to accommodate her local clientele. Today, the company's mission is to offer excellent fresh products that respect the environment. This is why since 2018, the farm has turned to organic in order to offer even healthier and safer vegetables for consumers. FRESH vegetables from our garden to your plate! Laurie and Samuel studied agriculture at the ITA in Saint-Hyacinthe to eventually take over. They are involved in both production and sales and have the goal of continuing and improving them. Since then, their innovative ideas have continued to improve the performance and modernity of the family business.
