Caprijol Farm is located in Saint-Gervais-de-Bellechasse, Quebec City. Our story begins in 1987, when the farm was home to cows and pigs. A few years later, in 2000, about fifty goats arrived. Today, Caprijol Farm raises a herd of 1,500 goats, including about 1,000 lactating ones. Each year, this represents a production of 950,000 L of milk and more than 2,000 newborn kids, making the company a leader in goat production in Quebec. Our mission is based on the importance of animal welfare. At Caprijol, we promote good breeding and production practices, with respect for animals and nature. At all times, the goal is to produce high-quality milk in an efficient and sustainable environment, while having a positive impact on society. The company has existed for two generations. First, by Micheline and Louis Jolin, Jean-Philippe's parents. Then, Marie-Pier, from the agricultural sector, joined Jean-Philippe and officially became co-owner of the company in 2018. The couple passed on agricultural values to their children, while prioritizing quality time with family and loved ones.
